About Me.

I’m a professional photographer, living in beautiful Barwon Heads on the south west coast of Victoria.

I was 45 when I left my job in the corporate world to chase a dream. One that I had since I was 15 years old, flicking through magazines, looking at the photos and thinking, I want to be a photographer. I was studying photography at school, back in the day when you set out with a film roll of 24 shots and you couldn’t see what you’ve captured until you took the film into the darkroom and watched the image slowly appear on paper.

“Photography! That’s not a career you should be following!”

That’s the advice I received, and with no courage to chase my dream, I spent 20 years in the finance sector. By this time I had 2 beautiful daughters. It’s hard to teach your children to follow their dreams if you are not doing it yourself.

So, with a huge amount of support from my wife, I studied and achieved an Advanced Diploma in Photography and I’m now a freelance photographer. I help my clients tell their story, through photographs and video. I take a lot of portraits for small and large business, provide content for their websites, annual reports and marketing material, I photograph their products and events. I photograph finished projects for builders. Food for restaurants. Oh, and I love taking landscapes.
